At CRL, we believe making a difference isn’t always about the big things. Sometimes, it’s about giving your time, sharing your skills and doing something that makes someone else’s life a little better.

A couple of weeks ago, our CRL Falkirk team put that belief into action by dedicating their time, skills and hard work to CEA Falkirk, helping to transform an unused outdoor space into somewhere welcoming, practical and comfortable for the people who use the service.

CEA supports adults, children and young people across the Falkirk area who have been affected by domestic abuse and trauma. Through its fully inclusive and supportive service, CEA helps people through incredibly difficult circumstances, providing a safe environment where they can access the support they need.

Its work includes counselling, mentoring, support networks, creative workshops, parenting support and specialist work with schools and other organisations. CEA also helps people recognise abuse and coercive control, understand the warning signs and, importantly, know that support is available.

With this in mind, the CRL team wanted to create something that would have a practical and lasting benefit for CEA and the people it supports.

We’re proud of the team for giving their time to support CEA Falkirk and helping to create a space that will benefit the organisation, its staff and the people it supports for years to come. 💚👏
