Whitely Lane Gore Farm Bridges M6CRL embark on a challenging new project …
16th December 2019CRL have recently been awarded their first major project in Area 10 works for Highways England, refurbishing, strengthening and improving the Whitley Lane and Gore Farm Bridges over the M6 motorway between Junctions 19 and 20. CRL has been employed as the Principal Contractor on this £4 million project and tasked with completing the works within the shortest programme duration, and with as little disruption to road users and other stakeholders as possible.

SureBridgeCRL awarded exclusive UK distributor rights for SureBridge
23rd October 2019CRL are pleased to announce that they secured an exclusive agreement with Fibercore Europe to design and install the SureBridge system in the UK. SureBridge is a unique technique for the sustainable refurbishment of existing bridges, which require strengthening and/or widening. It was developed by Fibercore Europe in partnership with the European Commission, the USA and ten European Countries.
Oldbury Viaduct CRA awareOldbury Viaduct Shortlisted for CRA Award
22nd October 2019Oldbury Viaduct has been shortlisted for the 2019 CRA Award. This £100m plus project, located between M5 junctions J1 and 2 in Sandwell in the West Midlands is the largest concrete repair project (by value) ever carried out in the UK (and possibly abroad!). The award will be presented by Anton Du Beke (of Strictly Come Dancing fame!) at the Concrete Society Awards evening which will be held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on Wednesday 20th November.
