CRL is proud to announce that we have once again successfully passed our Achilles UVDB audit, achieving an outstanding 100% score across all categories, both within our management systems and on site.
The Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) is a recognised prequalification system for regulated utilities across the UK. The audit process is rigorous and provides independent assurance that suppliers meet high standards in areas such as quality, health and safety, environmental management, and operational delivery.
Maintaining UVDB accreditation is an important part of how we support our clients and operate across the utilities sector. It enables CRL to tender for utilities work while giving clients confidence that we meet stringent industry requirements and support safe, secure, and reliable project delivery.
The importance of UVDB to our business is significant. This financial year alone, CRL has been awarded £8.3 million of orders in clean water projects, representing 26% of all orders received to date. Alongside this, our teams continue to deliver specialist works across critical infrastructure, including nuclear power stations, hydro-electric schemes, and wind turbine assets.
Achieving a result like this is a collective effort. We would like to thank everyone involved in supporting the two-day audit process. Achieving 100% across all categories is an excellent result and one the whole team should be proud of. It reinforces CRL’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards across the utilities and critical infrastructure sectors.
