Main duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical site experience while developing the technical, commercial, and management skills required for a successful career in civil engineering.
Working alongside experienced Site Managers and Contracts Engineers, you will support the delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with pre-contract site surveys and setting out activities.
- Support site administration, record keeping, and reporting.
- Maintain records of completed works and site measurements.
- Assist with material testing and quality inspections.
- Support the ordering of plant and materials.
- Attend site inductions, toolbox talks, and health & safety briefings.
- Develop an understanding of project programmes, cost control, and contract requirements.
- Promote safe working practices and contribute to sustainability initiatives.

Experience required
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.
- CSCS Card (achieved or working towards).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles and CDM Regulations.
- Strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ambitious and keen to develop a career in civil engineering, working towards professional accreditation.
