Netherdale Stadium in Galashiels, home to Gala Fairydean Football Club, features a Grade A listed concrete stand designed by Peter Womersley. Closed in 2018 due to spalling concrete, the stand underwent extensive, sympathetic repairs by Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) to restore both its structural integrity and historic character.

Works included bespoke concrete repairs replicating the original board-marked finish, terracing restoration, roof void refurbishment, waterproofing, drainage improvements, and ventilation installation. Additional upgrades, including lighting, floodlights, and lightning protection, enhanced safety and functionality. This project demonstrates how careful repair techniques can preserve iconic 20th-century concrete structures while meeting modern performance and conservation standards.
