Farnham Road Car Park in Guildford, adjacent to the railway station, underwent a major refurbishment to extend its service life and improve safety and functionality. Built in the late 1980s, the steel-framed, concrete-decked structure showed signs of deterioration, prompting Guildford Borough Council to commission a comprehensive repair and resurfacing programme.

Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) delivered the works, including deck resurfacing with SIKA Car Park Decking, concrete repairs, corrosion protection using Ferrogard 903, barrier refurbishment, and pigeon-proofing. Completed ahead of schedule and within budget, the project maintained full public access throughout, minimised disruption, and was recognised for excellence with a Considerate Constructors Scheme award.
